Strange Youtube problem

I have a Core Duo Macbook Pro from 2006 running 10.6.8 and latest version of Safari. Half the time when I go to Youtube the videos only play a portion of the full video. I have to hit refresh again for the whole video to load properly. This happening to anyone else lately?
