I make use of the iCloud backup a lot, seeing as I don't have much time to back up to my pc. I own both an iPhone 3GS and an iPod touch 4, and since iOS 5, have had them both backing up. However, since iOS 6, and more 6.0.1, my back up sizes have increased from around a GB or two each, now up to around 3 GB, which adding the devices together means I no longer have the ability to back them up to the free 5GB of space. I've tried deleting as much as I can off of each backup to try and reduce the file size but nothing changes, and I can only back up one or the other. Is this just an iOS six bug? I heard rumours saying that iOS 6 sometimes duplicates things without asking but I'm not too sure. If it's not a known bug, any help and tips?
Thanks

Same "problem" here. Not sure what the difference is, but clearly iOS 6 is backing up more "stuff" than iOS 5 did.

iCloud backups tends to get larger and larger even if you don't add anything -- and even if you DELETE things.

The only way to get it back down to size is to delete the backup and start over.

Don't ask me why.
