I am struggling to find a way to backup the four 1TB hard drives I have installed in my MacPro, using about 9 different smaller hard drives of varying sizes (that when added up, provide just about enough room to backup my four 1TB drives)...
Is there a program that would allow me to accomplish a backup procedure such as this? I really don't want to have to somehow jerry-rig the drives into a single raid array unless there's basically no other option...and even then, I'd probably still just opt to manually drag and drop files over onto the drives...
Ideally I am looking for a program that would allow me to specify exactly what I want to backup (which can include multiple drive volumes) and would allow me to choose where I want this data backed up to (again, which can include multiple drive volumes, if need be, as the 'destination' for the backup)...In this hypothetical 'ideal' scenario I've envisioned here, the program would proceed to backup all specified data to the chosen backup destinations(s), and it would work it's internal mojo to make things 'fit' in a streamlined and optimal manner...
Does anyone know of a program that might be able to do such a task?
