If you don't know what Strava is, it's basically a free app that maps your bicyclle rides and requires GPS. So what I was wondering was if anyone has tried using their iPad with the app yet? I know it may sound silly to carry an iPad with you during your ride just to keep track of rides but I've done a fair amount of research for sleek backpacks (Timbuk2 Small Fry 10") to carry it around with no extra bulk and thought since I don't own an iPhone or Garmin Edge that this would be my next best option. If anyone has tried it please tell me if you think the results are pretty accurate. I don't feel like spending another $350 just yet for a Garmin Edge if the Strava app can provide me equivalent results, I heard they will be making a Heart Rate Monitor ANT module for Strava to provide more detailed results in the future too. Any feedback would be great, otherwise I'm going to test it myself and order the backpack.
