Anyone know how to create the streak effect? If you look at the flashlights in Coldplay's "talk" a certain range of light intensity stretches across the screen. This is also used alot in Saving Private Ryan, and other Spielberg movies. I know there are filter packages like the 55mm one that can create the effect, but i was wondering if there were anyway to do this with color correction or a combination of other filters?

That's more of an in-camera effect, it's just how the light interacts with the lens. The lens flare.

You could fake something like that in After Effects. Final Cut is more of an editing thing, not really big on the visual effects.
