Hello!
I have been searching the forums and have found most of my answers, but I still have one specific question left...
I have a mid 2011 iMac and my itunes library is taking over. I am moving it all to an external HDD. USB3.0 is not an option on iMac yet, and Thunderbolt is still a little above my budget at the moment. I already own a USB 2.0 External HDD and my question is...Will USB2.0 be fast enough to stream HD movies from, without any stuttering/lag?
I have no issues streaming directly off of the iMac, but I want to make sure USB2.0 will be fast enough before I begin the transfer of my whole library. The setup will be: External HDD with itunes library connected to iMac connected to Wireless router streaming to ATV2.
Thanks!
