Hello,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the proper thread.

Whenver I stream a TV chanel on my macbook, and use AirPlay to get it on my TV, the image is far from being seamless. Of course, on the Macbook, it's perfect.

Do you have any idea how not to loose so much quality when using airplay?

Thanks!

Mirroring isn't a good way to airplay videos/movies. The best way is for the AppleTV to get the stream directly rather than through the device (what mirroring is doing) which is how most airplaying works through apps that support it. Mirroring 1080p mac is a lot of data to expect pristine picture. So the answer is not really.
