stream baseball game audio from mac to backyard

Hey all

2 questions

1- Will airtunes work for audio that falls outside of itunes? I want to get the audio for Phillies games this spring from MLB.com, I moved to VT and can't get it on regular radio

2- Is the airport express and powered speakers my best bet? Is there a cheaper option?

it costs 25 bucks, express costs 100, MLB audio 15 = 140 to listen to games
