Hi there
Just wondering, my o2 wireless box 4 has a usb port, I can connect an external hdd to this which my ps3 will see and stream media off of. Are there apps which will allow an iPhone/iPad to see this drive and stream media from without the need to leave my computer running 24/7?
I'm looking to get rid of my pc and buy a lappy which will not be connected to my drive constantly so want to wire it direct to the router and stream my media from there. Videos mainly.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Haven't tried it myself, but hey, at least it's something ;) Good luck!

8player does it. Easily too, just plugged my external hdd into my router, opened 8player on my device and browsed to my router and attached hdd, played avi and mp4 files no problems :)
Thanks for helping
