stream movies from macbook

Does anyone know of a PMP that would allow me to easily connect to my MacBook OS X 10.6.7 via wifi, or some other means, and "stream" my movies to my TV. I currently have an Archos 5 (non-android) and have not been able to do this successfully like I was able to do when using a PC. Or if you know how to do the streaming with the Archos 5, instructions would be appreciated.
