Stream music from iPad mini to Android phone

I plan to ditch my LG Spectrum 2 for the new iPhone 6 when it's released. I would like to put the phone to use though by using it as a means to play music in my car. The head unit in my vw doesn't have Bluetooth but has an aux input in the glove compartment. I'd like to just connect the phone to the aux and send music from my iPad mini or iPhone to the android phone.

Is this possible somehow?
