Streaming music from my MBP to my PC

Not entirely sure if this is possible with airplay (or another solution?). What I want to do is have the iTunes library on my MBP to stream and play on my PC - since the PC has the best speakers - running the latest up to date iTunes. Would Home Sharing make this possible (reading the description of Home Sharing in iTunes I don't believe so)?

Basically this is the scenario I hope is possible:
- lying on my bed with my MBP, PC is a desktop on the other side of my room running latest iTunes
- stream music from my MBP to the PC so the music plays off the PC speakers

you will be able to do what you want using Airfoil.

You could also use Windows Remote Desktop Application to remotely control the PC from anywhere in the house. It has the benefits of being able to do more than just transmit audio and it's free.
