Hi,

I'm in a 2 Mac laptop house (one MB and one MBP), I have an AppleTV and a Time Capsule.

I currently have about 1TB of video on an external USB drive that I watch via iTunes on the MBP and stream to the AppleTV.

My wife and I have separate iTunes and iPhoto libraries and I want to consolidate both on a single storage device. I want just one iTunes library and one iPhoto library and I want to be able to access both from either laptop wirelessly as well as stream my video to the AppleTV.

I have been looking at getting a Drobo + DroboShare. Would the above be possible with these two devices? I was thinking of connecting the Drobo/Droboshare to my Time Capsule (as this is an AEBS as well) to allow me to wirelessly stream the video on the Drobo to my AppleTV. It's really hard to find out if the performance will be adequate from reading on the internet. Am I likely to get stuttering? Is there a better solution? I don't want to drop £700 on something that isn't what I need.

Thanks in advance,

MadDoc
