It is not known yet for sure, but they have done it for the last few events, so there is precedent for doing it again today. Watch near the bottom of the page on www.apple.com as the hour approaches for the live stream. I'm also sure folks here on MR will post the links as well.

To watch the video stream on your Mac, you'll need Safari 4 or 5
and Mac OS X Snow Leopard. To watch it on iPhone, iPad, and
iPod touch, you'll need iOS 3 or 4.

Ipod touch too

I watched the last apple event on my iPod touch, so I can confirm it works on those too, IF they decide to stream it. Normally we should've known my now....
 
Yes, Engadget has always great coverage of Apple's events. It would be better if we had a live stream, but this is the closest we can get today.
 
I heard it from journalists at pcmag.com who are there doing live coverage by words only.
