Streaming radio apps on iOS5 jailbroken 3GS

After jailbreaking to iOS5 all the radio apps only work when iPhone is on; when it is locked they stop working, while by default they are supposed to work like Music app, even with iPhone locked. This happens on both Wifi and 3G. On unjailbroken iOS 5 the apps work fine. Jailbreaking seems to kill the apps when iPhone locks. Any ideas how to fix this?
