Hi guys.

I was wondering if streaming services like Spotify etc, which continually download and replace data on the SSD, whether that is healthy for the life of an SSD?

I thought deleting and creating new fiels are bad for SSDs in general

It's not.

SSDs last really long. They'll last longer than your computer.

Look at how long they all lasted (their write values).

I've had my Samsung 840 Pro installed for 2 years and S.M.A.R.T is showing that it has about 110 years of life left. I would call my usage light to moderate. If you pound it hard you might only get 20 to 30 years out of it.
