Hey everyone, i stream live video from webcams for my website using an account on a Windows Media Server. Most of the people that use the webcams use windows and hence use windows media encoder to broadcast which works fine given both the client and server are microsoft. I have one person on a mac who needs to be able to broadcast via the Windows Media Server but cannot for the life of me work out how to do it. You don't seem to get a mac version of Windows Media Encoder and i can't find any mac software that broadcasts to Windows Media Server (except possibly VLC but i can't seem to get this to work). I would really, really appreciate it if anyone had any ideas as to how i might go about doing this, as it is becoming a bit of a nightmare and i don't really know what to do, i assume it is possible as really all it is is the authentication and encoding, and broadcasting the video in the right format? I think!

Any help really would be extremely appreciated,

Thanks,

Dave
