Streaming to PS3

Can anyone tell me the best way to stream movies from my mac hard drive to PS3?

Also..

If I have movies stored on a western digital WIRELESS external HD, what's the best way to stream movies from that HD to a ps3 and xbox 360?

I am considering purchasing a a wireless WD external HD, how would i stream the movies off that HD to my PS3? Also is it just as easy with a 360?
