Just bought my 1st MAC and it's inspiring. Am slowly getting to know my way around it. The problem that I have is I also have a Sony Blu-ray home cinema system which has a WIFI connection to enable it to connect to the internet. Can I stream music from my macbook pro to this system, and if so how. I've tried but seem to fail at every attempt.

If you're just trying to stream music via iTunes, then what you would probably want to do is get the Airport Express (or I think RocketFish makes something similar to the AE in this respect) that will connect to the home theatre receiver via an Aux Line-In channel. All you'd need other than the AE would be an empty wall outlet and a 3.5mm to Stereo RCA (red/white) cable. This will allow you to stream iTunes wirelessly to the home theatre as long as you select the Aux input on the home theatre.
