Hello, how would i go about stream 'live' tv across my LAN? As in TV - computer - network. Where as a computer is dedicated to streaming?

I know a 'capture card' would be needed (well in a windows case anyway).

How would i go about doing this on a mac?

I've streamed non-live stuff over a network before with VLC and it worked a treat. Any thoughts?
