Wasn't really sure where to post this but it is sort of a general question so I thought I'd post it here. Happy to lock the thread when there are some clear answers.

I'm not interested in streaming apps, I'm sure there are plenty out there;
however I want to know how much of my internet 'quota' will be used when streaming a 500Mb episode of a TV show from my computer (already downloaded) to my iPad Mini (over WiFi), in terms of Mb, GB etc

Thanks
Mershy

If you are talking about streaming from your computer to your iPad over a local network, that is, both devices are connected to your home router, then it shouldn't use your "Internet quota" at all, because it is not going over the Internet.

If it is going over the Internet, then a 500 MB episode would use 500 MB of your quota.

Both are connected to the same router :)

Thanks a lot :)
