Yes, that's what I want!

i think it might be that time of night where you need to get some REM happening :p

What made you suggest a strikethrough code?

strikethrough is good for sarcastic effect and FTFY. Aww ya. I'd like it, but it'd get abused. But strikethrough likes that...

I've used strikethough on other forums. Much fun to be had. It doesn't get abused, either. In fact I tried it once on this forum and of course it didn't work...that was annoying....

I've brought this up before and still think it is a good idea. Maybe we could ask for it to be enabled?

There have been times in the past where it would have come in handy for me as well, so I think it would be a good idea.

...As long as it's disabled in signatures. The last thing I want to see is hundreds of signatures with strikethrough text (I don't know why, it just seems extra annoying).

I really think the strikethrough would be most useful in edits, where people may not realized that additional or changed information has been added to the bottom. A strikethrough would really come in handy in that situation. It would make it more clear that something has changed.

I'm completely down for it. I tried once and couldn't use it so it would be a nice addition.

it would be good for the times you posted something and needed to go back and fix it, but others have commented etc on it. gives the reader a visual indication of an edit. etc. i'm for it.

I'd like to hear from arn or somebody their story for why strikethrough isn't on here? I'm sure they have a reason.

I think there is use for it...when I make a mistake, people quote me, then I fix it. Its be nice if I could strikethrough my mistake inplace of deleting it, so its more clear what happened.

Thanks to my efforts good admins other than myself, this request has been granted. Hasn't made its way to the toolbar yet, but if you use the following vB code (minus spaces), you can do it:

Code:
 [ s t r i k e ] strike through me [ / s t r i k e ]

You better sticky lock this thread before everybody feels the need to test it out.
