Strip Metadata with Preview? (Catalina 10.15.7)

I have a picture i want to send and I want to get the metadata off of it just to be safe. I cannot figure out how to do this with preview. I got to the EXIF button on the info tab of the inspector in preview, but there is definitely not a button to remove/edit the data (google says there should be). I really dont want to DL a third party app to accomplish this, am i just missing something easy? Thanks for the help.
