Tonight while I was using my Macbook I noticed that when you scroll through stuff fast it has stripes in the graphics. Is this normal??? I'm really concerned that there is something wrong with the computer.

Yes... thats normal. Its a graphics sotware glitch which Apple is scheduled to fix in 10.5.5

Also, try this: open iTunes and Safari. Keep Safari window active and suddenly select iTunes. You'll notice that the grey iTunes bar suffer the same fat for a second!

I get something similar on my iBook G4 from time to time, but only on the desktop, never in an application window. Just curious, but did you recently install new ram? Might have something to do with it. Or not.
