I stripped a screw on logic board on unibody MBP 2009 model.

It is the right of the second fan moving from left to right.

Any suggestions on how to get it out is appreciated.

A quick home remedy is to place an elastic band over the head of the screwdriver. The rubber then provides extra grip against the screw. Doesn't always work but it's worth a try!

Obviously that doesn't help you with needing to find a new screw though...

Thank you mopatops for your suggestion.

I ended drilling the screw out. The old board survived and now all I have to do is find a replacement screw.

Lesson learned....I hope.
