Hi,
I've been having nothing but issues with this printer but at this point i'm stuck with it. It's a 310N which means it's a network printer and has an ethernet port.
I originally used the USB connection which was much simpler, but it only allows you to print one job. Every subsequent job gets stuck midway through.
Here's my set up
- One Airport Express N connected to DSL modem (modem is not a router). this is the main airport
- One Airport Express G connected only to printer, now via ethernet which, i think, is set up as a bridge.
- One MacBook Pro running 10.5.8
- One iMac G5 with iSight running 10.4.11
So how do i get the printer running via ethernet? I'm hoping this will work better then via USB. I know i need to assign it an IP address, but not sure how to do that and what to do from there.
Thanks so much ... at this point i'm pulling my hair out!
