After playing with the keyboard viewer some days ago, that application became crazy and stubborn. As far as I recall, I did not modify any preference.
The Keyboard Viewer shows up EVERY TIME a window with a password field is open. It opens when I unlock my keychains, it opens when I install an application, ...
I DID NOT reboot (in general, I refuse to reboot if the OS is not asking me to) but I removed the Keyboard Viewer preference file without success. I am running as standard user on a MacOS 10.5.6.
May be a reboot will solve the problem, but I would like to ask you why. What did I do to provoke KeyboardViewer? Is there any way to solve this problem without rebooting? Is there a rationale behind this?
Thanks.
