iPhone 17 Pro Stuck at 2 minutes when transferring from 15Pro to 17Pro

Doing a 1-1 transfer, both plugged into power.

It stalled and invited reset to factory reset, then went again, transferring data.

Now stuck at 2 minutes remaining.

what to do/check?

I have the exact same issue, same phone models, same reset issue (had to do so twice) and now stuck on 2 minutes remaining also!

Transfer Complete on 15Pro and 17Pro restarts ...

so all might be well

& so it seems, it is

Mine got the usual stuck on "xx minutes left" a couple times, but finished nicely. But the phone # transfer/activation with my Verizon number failed. Fortunately, I got a very good person at Verizon that did the transfer expertly.

Fortunately, i have a phsyical SIM as well as an eSim. So, have physically transferred the SIM & so can use now. The eSIM I can do later - its used for international travel
