Stuck at black Screen while updating (safari update)

Hello, after downloading the last update (the one with the new safari) my Macbook Air 2013 is stuck at the black screen with progress bar, the screen says "one minute left" but it has been like that for more than an hour.

What can I do? should I force reboot?

I would do a force restart...nothing else you can do right now. Definitely seems to be stuck.
