my brother has a jailbroken ipod touch 3.1.2. he wanted to upgrade it to 4.2 for a while but never had the time to. sooooo i took it upon my self to try and upgrade it than jailbreak it again. i just pressed upgrade and it gave me a couple errors and stuff and now his ipod is at the recovery screen and when i plug it in itunes doesnt recognize it but my computer pops up saying stuff like "new hardware found, i pod (recovery mode). someone please help me getting it out of recovery mode
 
If it appears in iTunes.. i can hellpp

or if it doesnt..

do this...

click the home button and the sleep button.. keep your hand on them until the itunes sign and cable appears.. then it will come in itunes.

download the iOS from here.

when it is downloading ....
put it on the desktop

Then open itunes..

Then go to the summary page..

then click on 'shift' restore.. then a page will open up..

Then select the iOS

then it processess...

Done..
