My MiniMac attempts to eject a CD, in fact, the CD just barely sticks its "nose" out of the slot, but is quickly pulled back in. This is obviously a hardware problem —*not software. This MiniMac is at work, and it's possible someone popped in a CD when there was already on in the tray.

There's not enough of the CD that comes out to grab onton with tweezers.

What do I do?

First of all, I think you're talking about the Mac mini. ;)

Second, I'd call Apple or go to your nearest Apple Store and see if you can get it repaired if your Mac mini is still under warranty.

Have the slot pointing downwards when you start up or eject. This will hopefully allow the CD to drop out. If there is a second they may eject normally.

Yeah, I would agree. If the OP is near an Apple Store I'd schedule an appointment with the genius bar & see how they can help.

Check this link out if you want to DYI, think someone had the same problem and actually shook the disk out  good luck
