(My iPhone is an iPhone 4 16GB with iOS 5.01 and jailbreaked with RedSn0w)
So... around a week ago my cousins were messing with my phone during a family trip and kept putting the password wrong until finally my phone got locked until connected to iTunes. When we finally came back from the trip I tried connecting to my MBP but it didn't recognize the phone because I had recently formatted it and although I had passed all my iTunes data including the backups and settings, I hadn't synced with my iPhone yet after the format. Then I went on iCloud.com and remotely wiped my phone with find my iPhone and then restored it with iTunes to iOS 5.1.1(I was going to update to 5.1.1 anyways so I just decided to do it now). After restoring all my data back to my phone, I attempted to jailbreak it with Absinthe. The jailbreaking failed twice but I managed to make it work. It seemed fine for a while but after an hour or so, it just suddenly turned off even though it was at 20% battery. I tried turning it on again but it didn't work so I tried holding the Sleep and Home buttons for a few seconds with no avail. I had to go out so I just left it connected to the wall charger when I left. When I came back, I pressed the Sleep button for a few seconds and it turned on to the critical battery screen(red empty battery), I left it for a while charging and it worked, until suddenly it turned off like it had before again. And that's where I'm at now. I have tried everything! I tried holding both the home and sleep buttons for almost a minute a few times, tried to put it in DFU mode like 10 times, but iTunes won't recognize it, the silver apple doesn't even appear. I also tried connecting it to 2 other computers but nothing worked, I've been trying for the past few days, I've tried charging with 4 different chargers but nothing works, I'm going to take it to the apple store on monday but since I jailbreaked it, I don't know what will happen. Someone please help me, I'm desperate... I've been searching the internet for days for an answer but nothing works. My iPhone isn't even that old... I think I've had it for around a year.
