Anyone else's iP4 been in Newark NJ since 2:38 am (EDT)? Has anyone's moved from there at all today? I received the early shipping email, so I am very hopeful it will move sometime soon; I am just outside Philadelphia, so less than 2 hours away.

when i called fedex to track the order what they said was its enroute to a fedex location in MY ZIPCODE

i think the site just didnt update yet

Stuck... or stolen?

I LOL'd. I never really liked Newark, except for a few Spanish restaurants. A lot of shipping is handled in Newark, though. The shipping info either hasn't been updated or your iPhone isn't going to be moved until later. They're not trying to get it to you faster than the shipping method that was paid for calls for.

Same here...

The first iPhone I ordered is still showing as arriving at the Newark location, but nothing else since 2:38am ET today.

The second iPhone I ordered from Apple not 20 minutes later on pre-order day is apparently still in Alaska as of 11:54am ET.

EDIT: I just called FedEx IPD (1800-455-4588) and they said it was delivered to my apartment this morning - the website still says tomorrow, so try this number. If they ask, tell them a CSR transferred you to that number.

When I saw my phone was in Newark, I felt as if it had been tainted.

Nice! Cuz mine says its still stuck in Newark, but I'm still holding out for a delivery tomorrow.

EDIT: Just called 1-800-GOFEDEX and entered my tracking number and said the same thing it said to you.

From San Fran (where the idea started) to being stuck in the rectum of America. See the irony?

as we type, fedex ninjas are being deployed to each of our homes to hand deliver the iPhones. true story
