Stuck in processing hell

Mine says preparing for shipment. If the delivery date is the 19th, an email should go out soon enough that the phone was shipped.
Don't forget THERE IS A TINY SCRATCH/DEAD PIXEL/MICROSCOPIC SPECK SHOULD I RETURN IT/PLEASE VALIDATE MY PURCHASE FOR ME/WHERE THE HELL IS MY PHONE threads.
And don't forget " after going thru 100+ replacement phones I found one that I'm almost happy with but I got another genius appointment to got thru 100+ more to find the perfect phone" hell threads.
I have a 64 GB 6 Plus on AT&T Space Gray still stuck in processing. Funny thing is my friend (I placed his order under my Apple ID, diff AT&T account) ordered the same exact model as me, lives in the county next to mine, and has his preparing for shipment too. 
And I placed my order at 3:22 EST. I was one of the few that got my order in the first wave of people using the Apple Store app. Delivery date is still 9/19 however!

I ordered 2.5 hours after preorders started and mine has been Preparing to ship since like 3pm central yesterday

Why would you think yours would be in "preparing to ship" status?
During the ip5 launch a lot of phones were 'Processing' for a long time because they were going to be assigned to stateside inventory with short ship time. Most were updated early in the week and arrived on time.

My 4S came straight from Shenzhen, China (where it was made) and did not even enter the "shipping" phase until the day before it was delivered. Don't worry about it.
