Hi Guys,
I am relatively new to MacBook Pro, using it since May 2015.
I updated my software 2 days ago after seeing a notification from Apple.
But unfortunately since then my MacBook Pro (late 2014 15" retina display model) is stuck in rebooting loop. It loads up to my password bit & then restarts again;even if put in my password or not it restarts automatically? I have tried putting it in safe mode but had no luck with it. My apple genius appointment is 6 days away & I desperately need my laptop. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated

Press Cmd+R on startup to boot into the recovery partition. Try repair the disk in Disk Utility.

If there aren't any problems (no red writing listed), then you can try the option 'Reinstall OS X'. This will not delete any of your data or applications, and instead will just reinstall the OS components. Might do the trick.

Thanks for your advice, I tried above commands but don't see any recovery partition. Screen remains black, then apple logo, then password screen & finally reboots again?

Sorry just to confirm - are you holding Cmd+R on startup? Just holding it down as soon as you press the power button? Cause you need to hold rather than press (sorry if I misinformed you in original post).
