So I remember hearing problems with keys on the "new" macbook retina 12" but quietly hoping it wouldnt affect me... But today it happened.
They key works, but it wont press down (or it will, but there is no spring in it.)
So my question is: Is this covere my apple care? Or am I screwed??

Every product sold has at least 12months warranty.
Apple care just extends that to 36m.

So u r fine. Take it in or Try to clean with compressed air first and see it works again

Ok. Do they fix it or do I get a new one in that case?

I bought some compressed air, but I've been worried about using it, it seems like a lot of liquid is coming out of the straw when I press it...

They will put a new top case in it.

Usually there shouldn't come out liquid. Don't use it upside down

HEY! It worked! Thank you! :)
I'm glad you resolved your issue.
when I first purchased it, had some key issues, then they got resolved. Make sure not to have crumbles near it, you can use compressed ir or a vacuum cleaner (from far) and that should resolve all issues related to the keyboard.

I keep my laptop clean, because I use it daily for 9 hours works straight, and I never had any issues with it whatsoever.
