iPhone Stuck on Apple Logo

Hello,

I tried to install the Cydia updates this morning. My phone rebooted automatically and now it's stuck on the apple logo flashing. I have already tried to hardboot and that didn't work. Please help!

For whatever reason, try multiple hard resets. 3 worked for me.

I have tried to hard reset like 10x and it's still stuck flashing.

You still have this problem after the recent Cydia evasi0n update?

Hmm. Maybe restore and re-jailbreak with the newest version of evasi0n from the website.

I don't know what else your options are.

Try safe mode.

While plugged in to the charger,

Hard reset - Press and hold home + power for 15 sec, then hold vol +

OR

SSH and type "killall -SEGV SpringBoard"

That's what worked for me.

Im having the same issue, I jailbroke my iphone 4. Only thing installed was the update for cydia, then winterboard. once I slide to power off my phone it never turns back on. I tried many resets. Turns out Im going to restore it right now to factory.

Sorry, but I am bit confused on the SSH details

just do the first option then. The second requires (i think) having installed a ssh utility in the first place after jailbreak and before your problem

I have this problem as well, I just never kill or restart my iphone anymore, would love to know how to fix this bug!

ssh to your iphone using putty (windows) or terminal (max/linux).

login with "root" as username and "alpine" as password (unless you changed it).

then use the command I gave earlier.

I tried the first option, but my phone just sits at the apple logo flashing every 10 seconds. It looks like it's going to boot, but then the apple logo appears again.

Yes, I have been doing this for the past 2 hours now.

yeah, I saw a few updates in cydia too (a few looked a bit "shifty") and I purposely didn't update in fear of this happening to mine
