I was using mavericks 10.9 GM without any issue for the last two days. Just a momdnt ago, system was like stacked, i think because of Airmail e-mail client. I decided jut to do a hard reset, pressing the power button for two seconds...

Now the laptop doesnt boot up. It shows the grey screen, beeps, and that's it. No apple logo, no time wheel, no progress bar... nothing. Already did PRAM reset and start with option key, from cd usb drive, etc... nothing works...

Shift key to boot on safe mode... nothing.

PLEASE HELP. It must be easy to solve... hopefully.

I have time machine backup, and all my data work and files in another external drive.

I have no recovery partition in my laptop, it was deleted a year ago or so...

You may want to give these boot options a try going with the verbose option first to see where the boot is failing then the single user if it can be fixed from there.

I tried that already. It can not enter verbose mode...

It jyst stays in the grey screen.

How did you figure out it was the SD? I'm having a similar problem. It lets me start safe mode, but I don't have ant backups and I'm afraid to do anything.
