I need a little help..My friend lost the password to his MacBook, so I showed him how to change his password using the Mac OSX install disk.
We proceeded to launch the Password Change application, clicked on Macintosh HDD, and entered a new password before resetting the system.
When it was restarted, we were presented with the OSX login screen, however both the account name and password fields are empty. Entering his account name and NEW password we can't login, it's still failing. I really need to get into this system first thing in the morning ASAP. Any help to get back into the system would be much appreciated.
