Hi,
I've been searching all over the net to find a solution. After upgrading to sierra my time machine backup is stuck on "preparing backup". I left it like that overnight and the backup never starts.
I use Time Machine on my Time Capsule with is in bridge mode with my airport extreme. This setup as been working fine before upgrading to sierra.
I tried resetting PRAM, restarting my airport, time capsule and mac.
I tried this : http://osxdaily.com/2014/03/31/time-machine-stuck-preparing-backup-mac-fix/ but can't find the Backups.backupd folder, instead I see a sparsebundle file. When I open the package, all I get is a few .plist file and other small files + a folder named "bands". I can't see the content of that folder, all I get is a never ending spinning wheel.
Can someone help?
Thanks in advance
