I've been using my G3 iBook fine dual monitoring, today I bought a VGA cable to hook up my PC laptop and iBook to it..

Everything was going fine until I checked a display that wasn't supported by TV, and I can't get it over to my iBook display (I have the HDTV set as the main screen when I plug it in)

Anyway to restore these settings?

A bit of a guess: Unplug the external display then reboot while holding Cmd-Opt-P-R until you hear the chime a second time.

Luckly another PC monitor I have does support the display, so I was able to trick it into editing the settings on that monitor and coming back, everything is back to normal.

Thanks, I'll keep that advice next time I screw it up.

But until then, the uptime continues at 22 and 5 hours :D
