Stuck or Dead Pixel?

I have a cintiq21UX 2nd gen and whenever I have a green or white background colour there is a dark spot but if you look very closely it appears a bit red. When it is on a blue background it is fine and also fine on red. This leads me to believe the green sub pixel is not working. Is this classed as a dead or a stuck pixel and is it worth running software over it for hours trying to fix? Thanks
