Hi. Just had the ipad3 for less than a month and with a screen protector. Just been reading this forum for maintenance on the ipad and bumped into the dead and stuck pixel section.

After running the tests i noticed a multicolored discoloration on multiplr parts of the screen. Might be a dead pixel or a dirt in between the screen protector and ipads screen.

My question is.. When i turn off the ipad i could still see a silhoutte of the marking on the screen. Is this possible if it is astuck pixel?

Just hoping it's just dirt or a scratch on the screen protector causing this discoloration when screen is turned on.

Thanks

I think, if you're seeing that when it's turned off, it's probably not a stuck pixel. It could be dirt or something under the screen. If it bothers you or you don't like it, you can take it into the Apple Store and see about a replacement.
