R rc0310 macrumors member Aug 3, 2010 51 5 Jun 25, 2015 #3 i had the same thing happen to me on my left Shift key.. returned the Macbook and bought another one. Ordered a Moshi 0.1mm clear keyboard cover.. hopefully that'll stop dirt from getting stuck under the keyboard
