Hi guys,

In January I got my iPhone with AT&T, now I quit the contract and want to jailbreak it. Silly as I am, the first try on 3.1.3 firmware did not work and I had to restore it. Now I'm on iOS 4 and it hasn't been jailbroken. I've been looking around for tools to jailbreak, but every stupid one requires a Jailbreak on 3.1.3 or earlier firmwares. Does anybody know a solution?

I tried Pwnage Tool, Sn0wbreeze, blackra1n. No success...

It doesn't matter whether it's Windows or Mac.

If you have a 3GS, there is currently no way to jailbreak your phone. Hopefully soon.

any idea, how long it'll take?

I understand that comex has a new version of Spirit in the works, which will probably be released shortly after the next iOS update. I'm pretty sure he'll wait for the promised signal-bar-fixing update before releasing. This is speculative, though; he has not promised a release date.

so as of now, nobody exactly knows when the next update to jailbreak will come out? i've been running around without a cell phone for the last 6 days and slowly my own sillyness pisses me off.
