Stuck with the spinning colored ball /Pointer

Was watrching TV through an Opimum on line app and now I cant close it. Colored ball is spinning. How to I end the program. On my PC it hit alt, control and delete at the same time, bring up task manager and close the program. How do I do this on a MAC please?

cmd + alt + esc
