So I've read that if you pay the $99 dollars to sign up for the Student Apple Developers connection you can get better discounts than the flat EDU one. I'm looking to buy a new PM dual 2.0 in the next week, and I was planning on using the original EDU discount with another $100 off because of a student rebate, brining the cost down to $1699. Does anyone know how much I would save using this Student ADC discount on a PM 2.0? Also, if I were to sign up and purchase the computer before the student rebate expires, can the rebate be used when a computer is purchased using the Student ADC? Thanks for all your help!

A dual 2.0Ghz PowerMac is $1599 in the ADC store. So add $99 to become a developer and you are better off just going with the edu discount + rebate. The rebate can't be used on purchases from the ADC store.
