Student Apple Care on Macbook Purchased Abroad

You can get a small amount off. For example the MBA/MBP 13" goes from £203 to £160 with the HE discount.
However, the ~£50 price is only available at the time of purchase by a UK student. So you won't get that price.
Remember UK HE students get a free 3 year warranty (no need to spend a penny) and 15% off in the UK, so factor that into the equation when purchasing abroad. See the link in my sig for more details.
