I'm looking to purchase an iPad Pro (and potentially trade in my macbook air early 2014 version for credit). I am a student and looking to get the best possible price/deal. Any suggestions on where to get the best deal? Or where I'll get the most for my trade in to then purchase an iPad? Any help is appreciated.

I personally went with buying mine from Apple. I got the free Beats (which is not available anymore), and the AppleCare. Refurbished deals from Apple if they're available are always a good shout though.

Best Buy will do student deals now and then IIRC.

Also, sell the air instead of trading it in. You'll make way more.

I was thinking about that. Any suggestions on where I can get the most for it?

Swappa isn't showing me an option to sell a macbook air to them? But I did list it on Craigslist.
Oh, my mistake. For whatever reason I was thinking iPad. Yeah, stick with Craigslist. I've always had good luck selling Macs on there.

A couple tips though:

-stick with a public place. Coffee shops work great.

-have the device super clean. Clean screen, clean keys, no debris anywhere.

-have it charged and restored beforehand so they can see it works, and is ready to go.

-cash only!

Good luck with the sale!
