I have a student developer account that will expire at the end of this semester. I want to buy an iMac. I have heard to buy AppleCare through the edu disc, that can be added later. There is an offer of $100 off a printer, both items need to be on the same receipt. Is the printer coupon valid for this purchase? I have read the terms and conditions on the coupon, and I cant find any phrase that would qualify or disqualify it.

Yes, the printer is really a separate deal, and you can get the rebate with no problem. They're just saying you have to buy the iMac and the printer at the same time.

It gets tricky when you get the iPod deal in the fall, when you have to mail a UPC from your computer to two separate places. Doesn't sound like you have that issue, so I won't go into details.
